MURRAY BREWERIES IN BEECHWORTH
The historic brewery in Last Street was built in 1865 while Beechworth was at the height of the Gold Rush. The site was chosen because a natural spring occurred here and the pure water has been used in all of the beverages to this day. With the interference of a temperance group in the 1920's, beer production ceased and a soft drink and cordial factory was started. Visit the makers of turn of the century gourmet cordial mixers and long forgotten flavours made to original recipes and methods.
Free tastings and sales 10am-4pm daily.

COME AND DISCOVER THE BEECHWORTH HONEY EXPERIENCE
Beechworth Honey opened their exciting new complex on the corner of Ford and Church Streets in April 2008. Visitors can enjoy interpretive displays and history, life of a beekeeper at work alongside how a modern day packing plant takes the liquid gold from the hives, through to your breakfast toast.  There’s a courtyard and coffee shop and a giant Queen Bee jigsaw to challenge the kids.  Special group tours can be organised. www.beechworthhoney.com.au
