History records indicate our motorinn is on the site of an old blacksmith shop where part of the Kelly Gang's armour was supposedly made.

We are in the heart of Beechworth where you can explore and discover our town.  We have excellent off-street parking at the rear which is quiet and convenient to your suite. 

Our prime location is at the Lake Sambell end of Camp Street that heads up towards the historic Mayday Hills property, now the home of the Harvest Celebration and Opera in the Alps. We are within 100 metres of award winning tourist attractions such as the Beechworth Bakery and Beechworth Sweet Company.

Beechworth boasts a range of cafes, winery experiences and restaurants including the highly recommended Hotel Nicholas which is next door to us at the Armour Motor Inn, plus the well renowned Provenance. Also on offer in Beechworth is a wide range of relaxing and recreational activities.

For walkers and cycling enthusiasts, we are close to the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail and a gateway to wonderful local and regional attractions in Victoria’s Alpine, Wine growing and North East Valleys areas. We are approximately 1.5 hours from the Victorian Snow Fields including Mt Buffalo, Falls Creek and Mt Hotham.
